Joining together during the season activates the purpose of that time of year. We listen for nature's lead. In Chinese medicine, autumn is the season of letting go and receiving.

Autumn is associated with the metal element. Grief is the emotion and lungs and colon the organs. When grief can move, so can inspiration.

These seasons of the year echo in seasons of a lifetime. In Chinese medicine seasons are related to the elements in nature and specific organs.
